Right, to start off this album is pretty good. I wasn’t expecting every single track to be worthy of repeating, but was pleasantly surprised. This album has got a kind of more pop feel to it than rap but I would still class some of the songs to be ‘rap-like’. There’s nothing really lyrical in this album so if you’re expecting to listen to it for wordplay and rhythm, then don’t. Instead, enjoy the songs for the vibe. I’d say the tracks are a perfect mix of uplifting but effectively depressing. Which is different. The sadder songs include the tracks Clown with Trevor Daniel as well as If I were u with Lauv. This was a short album review of blackbear’s album Everything Means Nothing.
